Position: Executive Assistant, Film Production
Location: West Hollywood
Reports to: EVP, Film Production and SVP, Film Post Production
MRC is a diversified global entertainment company with divisions including Film and Television. This role will work closely with all members of the Film team and will dual-report to the EVP, Head of Film Physical Production and SVP, of Film Post Production.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Manage the calendars of the EVP, Film Production and SVP, Film Post Production
· Organize ad hoc and weekly meetings for Production/Creative/BA/Finance on all film productions
· Manage the phone sheet and monitor calls for the EVP, Film Production
· Handle expenses for EVP, Film Production and SVP, Film Post Production
· Handle travel for EVP, Film Production and SVP, Film Post Production
· Provide general ad hoc support and maintain schedule on daily basis for the EVP, Film Production and SVP, Film Post Production
· Assist with ad hoc support of projects in development, production and post production
· Assist with travel for projects in Development and Post Production and interact with Film Travel Coordinator while handling complex travel as needed
· Liaise with other Executive Assistants in the company to maintain communication across divisions
· Collaborate with assistants and coordinators in internal departments to maintain communication across the Film division
· Provide ad hoc support to Manager of Production and Post on an as needed basis
· Assist with the management of physical assets and production storage facilities
· Assist with the coordination and setup of internal and external screenings
Education, Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· 2-3 years Executive Assistant experience
· 1-2 years of relevant studio or production company experience a plus
· Must be detail oriented, with an ability to multi-task
· Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment
· Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
· Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele
· Possess a genuine interest in filmmaking and studio operations
· Desire for continuous learning: LLM proficiency and AI/automation concept familiarity required
Hiring Salary Range is $21 to $22/hour, dependent on experience and level. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including, but not limited to, market demands, experience/training, and education.
